We are a dispensing practice who look after just over 9600 patients and are growing with a 3 partner partnership, 3 salaried GPs plus a fantastic team of ANP’s, nurses, healthcare assistants and admin/reception staff. We are part of a well-established PCN therefore are also able to offer, first contact physiotherapists, a mental health practitioner and RISE (social empowerment) team.
We are also a teaching practice for medical students.

Part-Time Dispensary Administrator
Fantastic opportunity for a Part-Time Dispensary Administrator to join our team.
We are looking to recruit a Part-Time Dispensary Administrator to join our busy dispensary team at Empingham Medical Centre
The role would involve:
– Managing and processing requests received by phone, email, post, slips and the online access system, in accordance with practice protocol.
– Generate requests for medication on behalf of the patient for non-repeat items according to standard operating procedures, directing to the correct clinician.
– Ensure medication reviews are arranged by maintaining an accurate recall system according to practice standard operating procedure.
– Maintain the monitoring process for High-Risk Drugs ensuring patients have been issued with the appropriate blood forms as directed by hospital as part of shared care.
– Handing out complete dispensed medication to patients taking payment when required.
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills
Good IT skills – system one knowledge desirable
Experience working within a dispensary would be an advantage, however full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Salary: £10.42
