The Empingham Patient Participation Group (PPG) exists to help channel communications between patients and the practice. Every patient is automatically a member of the PPG but we would like to invite all to sign up as ‘Active Members’ by clicking on this link. This will help the PPG communicate with patients and to channel their views to the practice.
The more active members the PPG can demonstrate will increase its ability to ‘speak truth to power’ when it engages with other elements of the Health & Social system to make them aware of our patient’s opinions. The practice now has over 9000 patients and we are aiming to recruit at least 10% as active members to give us the authority to act as the patient’s representative.
